Prerequisites | Basic Finnish Course 1, Basic Finnish Course 2 and Basic Finnish Course 3 or equivalent knowledge of Finnish (proficiency level A1). |
Objectives | Areas of Competence: Lower Intermediate Finnish Course: The student learns to expand the vocabulary and increase the knowledge of grammatical structures. The student learns to make a short presentation in Finnish to his/her audience. |
Content | Areas of Competence: Lower Intermediate Finnish Course: Lower intermediate knowledge of the Finnish vocabulary and grammar in relation to traveling, health, illness and nature. Structures: past tense positive, Mennään! structure, noun types us/ys, os/ös, es, object, täytyy-sentence, pronoun joka, noun types in, e, as/äs and the k-p-t change, verbs with the MA-infinitive, transitive verbs vs. intransitive verbs, verb type 6. |
