Objectives	The student is familiar with and keeps up with the basic tasks in his/her own professional area. The student can identify the most usual skill requirements and he/she is prepared to work in work community.
Content	The student works in the basic tasks of his/her field of studies.
Recommended optional programme components	If necessary, the student advisor will recommend optional programme components for each student based on their individual study plan.

Further Information	General training can be done after the first academic year as a summer training or student's prior work experience from the industry can be accepted as an completion. General training can be combined to professional training when student has completed at least 90 credits. Professional training (place, tasks etc.) in particular must be approved in advance by the teacher co-ordinating Professional trainings. See Study Guide for additional information.
