Objectives | The student can work safely in a microbiology laboratory and can use a microscope independently. The student is able to take care of the proper handling of infectious waste. The student gets acquainted with different types of culture media and is able to perform microbiological cultivation. The student learns about the most common methods used in microbiology and microbial identification The student is able to take samples, perform microbiological point-of care tests and perform quality control of the tests. The student can perform Gram staining, knows its principle, its purpose and can identify the main findings in staining microscopy. The student can perform a sensitivity analysis and its interpretation The student will make a reflective learning diary about the training lessons. |
