Objectives | The student knows the principles of pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics and the basics of toxicology. The student can name the medicines used in the treatment of the most common diseases and explain their pharmacology, side effects and specific interactions. |
Content | The actions of pharmacological agents. The actions of the body towards pharmacological agents. Side effects caused by pharmacological agents and harmful side effects, definition of toxicology, basics of organ toxicology, drug poisoning. Antimicrobial drugs, cardiovascular drugs, pulmonary disease drugs, alimentary tract disease drugs, endocrinological drugs, analgesic and antipyretic drugs. |
