1-2: The student knows the basic individual concepts and methods related to internationalization process of company and international business operation modes, understands the role of market environment and market research and demonstrates a basic knowledge of them. The student is able to seek information. The student can apply at a basic level in practice what has been learned as a member of a student group. The student can communicate, report and present his or team’s work but there can be shortcomings in communication, presenting, contents, structure and external appearance or following given instructions. The student can evaluate and reflect on his own and the group’s performance albeit not fully recognizing the role of self-initiative in fulfilling the learning objectives. The student has completed the given tasks but not necessarily in its time or in line with instructions. The student has shown satisfactory knowledge in the course exam.
3-4: The student knows the key concepts and methods related to internationalization process of company and international business operation modes, understands the role of market environment and market research and demonstrates wider and deeper knowledge of them. The student can apply at advanced level in practice what has been learned as a part of a student group. The student acts in a goal oriented manner in a student group. The student searches for knowledge by utilizing versatile sources with source criticism. The student acts as a responsible team member to produce materials and presentations. The student can communicate, report and present his or team’s work and the presentation, contents, structure and external appearance are in line with the given instructions. The student can evaluate and reflect on his own and the group’s performance and is able to demonstrate points of success as well as shortcomings. The student has completed the given tasks on time and in line with instructions. The student has shown good knowledge in the course exam.
5: The student masters the key concepts and methods related to internationalization process of company and international business operation modes, understands the role of market environment and market research and demonstrates thorough knowledge of them, and is able to use professional terminology consistently. The student can apply at advanced and innovative level in practice what has been learned as a part of a multidisciplinary group. The student searches for knowledge by evaluating different information sources and utilizing versatile sources with source criticism. The student acts as a responsible team member by partly organizing the teams work to produce materials and presentations. The student can communicate, report and present his or team’s work and the contents professionally and extensively, structure and external appearance are fully in line with the given instructions.
