YY00DU56 Finnish Language 2: Move on! (3 cr)
Prerequisites YY00DU55 Finnish Language 1: Survive! or equivalent knowledge of Finnish (Proficiency level A1.1)
Objectives I can communicate in simple everyday situations in Finnish. I identify some differences between spoken and written Finnish. I can understand and write simple short messages.

The target level is A1.1 in Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
Content Communicative situations related to living environment and running errands e.g. food, shopping, clothes, weather, seasons and months. Structures of Finnish language e.g. partitive, genitive and selected local cases, verb types 2?5, consonant gradation in nouns, adjectives to describe one?s appearance.
Recommended optional programme components If necessary, the student advisor will recommend optional programme components for each student based on their individual study plan.
