Objectives | To be able to apply the backgrounds of construction engineering, building physics and principles of sustainable development in energy efficient building and especially in passive energy buildings. To be able to define building designer's tasks. To be able to describe quality factors when planning energy efficient buildings. To be able to apply principles of energy efficient building and structural physics when formulating energy efficiency calculations. To understand the basics of technical machinery and instrumentation behind the energy efficiency of buildings. To understand aspects of energy efficiency and comfortable indoor climate in architectural design based on dynamic simulation and to be able to produce simple simulations with basic tools |

Exploitation of renewable energy in construction engineering/ house building. Energy efficiency calculations in new building and renovation.
