Prerequisites | The student has passed the professional studies and drug dose calculation of radiotherapy. |
Objectives | The student masters the core content related to radiation therapy planning and carrying out the treatment and documentation. The student is able to search international research related to the art of radiation therapy and apply the results of them. The student identifies the meaning of his/her personal development in delivering the art of radiation therapy. The student knows the features of radiation therapy in different European countries. The student is able to apply the principles of financially and ecologically sustainable development. The student is able to work in an interprofessional group. |
Content | Carrying out the art of radiation therapy, Special features of care for patients undergoing radiation therapy, Radiation therapy treatment planning, Quality assurance and good care in radiation therapy, Ethical issues in care of patient receiving radiation therapy, Radiographer as the realiser of interprofessional collaboration. |
