Objectives | The student is able to: ? demonstrate the principles of client-oriented interviewing and systematic clinical examination; ? recognise abnormalities in vital functions, patient´s health, and life situation; ? evaluate the need for care and healthcare services of patients in different age groups and backgrounds utilising comprehensively gathered information; ? apply different electronic and online services for the evaluation and support of the patient´s welfare, health, and functional capacity; and ? utilise medical knowledge in nursing care. |
Content | General Contents Systematic clinical examination and evaluation of care needs (4 ECTS) Medical knowledge: psychiatry, substance abuse, gynecology, obstetrics, pediatrics (3 ECTS) Specific Contents ? Different diseases of patients in different age groups and the evaluation for the needs of care in collaboration with the patient. ? Patient anamnesis, systematic interview, observation, systematic clinical examination, and the use of different measurement tools ? Evidence-based methods in the evaluation of welfare, health, and functional capacity ? Medical knowledge: pediatrics, gyneacology and obstetrics, psychiatry, and substance abuse. |
