Objectives | The student is able to: ? identify the six defining attributes of sustainability in nursing; ? discuss hazardous exposures in healthcare facilities among nurses; ? develop methods to reduce medicine waste using evidence-based practice; ? recognise the role of nurses in the climate change movement; ? discuss health-related illnesses caused by climate change; and ? distinguish the difference between upstream and downstream policies to strengthen policies in environmental health. |
