Objectives | Theoretical competencies: I'm able to: Demonstrate fundamental knowledge and insight into general pathology and general medical disorders and how they can affect the eye in the areas of Inflammation and repair; Cardiovascular diseases and the eye; Blood diseases and the eye; Endocrine diseases and the eye; Neurological diseases and the eye; Nutritional disorders; Rheumatoid disorders, Vasculitis and Collagenases; Infectious diseases; Tumor, and Congenital and hereditary conditions. Clinical/practical competencies: I have: The ability to perform manual blood pressure measurements with stethoscope auscultation and lymph node palpations; and the ability to recognize manifestations of systemic disease. |
