Objectives | I understand the features and functionality of common sound programming environments. I can build an independent program that processes input data the way the user wants. I envisage the possibilities offered by programming environments from the perspective of performing arts, both in sound and visual making. |
Content | The course covers the main principles of programming and data processing, especially from the perspective of music technology. The course introduces you to a visual programming environment, where the user can build interactive audiovisual applications for a wide range of uses. During the study period, the student is introduced with several software in the application category. Students complete an independent audio programming project as the course assignment. |
