Objectives After studying this course, I understand the principles of music managemen and know how to start joint music, maintain the tempo in different types of tempos, show characters and entrances, and I know how to show the ending. I also know how to use the referencing technique of music conducting to enliven the teaching situation in my pedagogical work. I am encouraged to act as a group leader.

Goals regarding the rhythmic music implementation of Basics of Music Conducting:
I will know how to conduct in time in the meters of 4/4 and 3/4, as well as how to cue people on different beats. I will also learn more of conductor work and other forms of musical leadership in various musical contexts. I am prepared to function with different types of musical notation: I can follow a score in tempo, I understand how a lead sheet works, I am able to produce notated rhythms by clapping or vocalization, and am also able to sing simple melodic content from sheet music.
Content Music leading in different situations, beat patterns of 1-6 time signatures and showing different characters. Music conducting in a teaching situation (pedagogical perspective). In the end half of the course either choir conducting or ensemble work.

Rhythmic Music implementation:
Conducting patterns in 4/4 and 3/4 meters, and the tools for conducting in other meters. Upbeats and cues, and information on other qualities of conductor work. Examples of different types of musical notation and working with them accordingly.
