Objectives The student has basic knowledge on the tools, programming languages and software libraries used in data analysis and visualization. The student can apply these tools into various data sets to gain insights and knowledge about the phenomenon under investigation. The student can use cloud-based data analysis software for analysis and visualization purposes. The student understands how human visual perception works and how this should be considered when creating visual displays of data. The student is familiar with the most common graph, chart, and map types. The student can visualize the results of data analysis and present them in a way that supports organizational decision making.
