Objectives | The student can outline the different starting points and approaches of art, culture, and art education and analyse the applicability of these approaches in social client work. The student is able to analyse an inclusive, empowering, and well-being-oriented perspective of art and culture-based methods in working with different client groups. The student can do goal-oriented plans, implement, and evaluate cultural and artistic activities that involve the clients and promote their well-being. |
Content | The different fields of art such as visual arts, music, literary, dance, expressive arts and culture and the applications of them in client work of the social services. Socio-pedagogical and socio-cultural orientation as an approach when using art- and culture-based methods and activities to activate and promote the well-being of the client. Art and culture-based activities that generate well-being and take place in the everyday life of the social sector clients. |
