Objectives | The student can explain and analyse how art and culture based work methods and applications promote well-being in adulthood. The student construct their understanding about art and culture based applications with adult clients. The student can relate social pedagogical and sociocultural orientation as his/her goal-directed professional thinking. The student can explain and analyse how art and culture based methods can promote well-being in human life. The student identifies different orientations of art education and construe the significance of art, artistic operations and culture in personal and professional growth. |
Content | Different forms and concepts of arts: visual art, music, literary, dance and combined arts. The significance of art, culture and art education in promoting well-being and personal growth of adult clients. Art education as a possibility in human growth. The significance of the artistic experiences for the human being. The goal-oriented artistic operations and activities in adult client work of social services field. Experience and reflectivity in client work. The student can plan, execute, demonstrate and evaluate goal-oriented art and culture based methods, operation and activities with clients.
