1P00DH41 Key Areas of Competence-Based Teacher Training (16 cr)
Prerequisites -
Objectives 1. You reflect your level of competence and developmental needs in relation to the competence goals of the teacher education.
2. You create your personal study plan (PSP)
3. You understand how to integrate teaching into research, development and innovation activities (RDI) of the school.
4. You understand how to apply international and multicultural knowledge in teacher?s work.
5. You know the principles of entrepreneurship education and their significance in teacher?s work. (Edupreneurship Badge 1)
6. You understand the social meaning of entrepreneurship as a part of education and teacher?s work. (Edupreneurship Badge 2)
7. You understand the importance of physical, mental and social safety in teaching and guidance for the student.
8. You understand the meanings of student welfare, need of special help and accessibility in teacher?s work.
9. You use the essential tools of digital pedagogy and document your learning process with digital badges
10. You teach or guide, assess and give feedback using digital learning solutions or environments.
Content According to the competence-based approach, the contents of a study unit will be build based on the competence goals.

Further Information Please notice that the modules of this course cannot be selected separately. In this course you need to take part in small group work (3-5 students) to prepare material for monthly 4-hour online sessions where you will be acting as a teacher/instructor. Participation in the planning and sessions is mandatory. Individual and small group learning activities instructed by the tutors take place between the webinars and on the learning platform.

The course starts with contact days 12th and 13th January 2022 and in January you will have a short personal online tutoring session. Please notice that all the sessions are online.
