Estudio Gheada El mejor de los mundos
Azkuna Zentroa – Alhóndiga Bilbao, a partner in the ACuTe project, hosts on April 20th, the premiere of the scenic project El Mejor de los Mundos (EMDLM – The Best of All Worlds) by Estudio Gheada, exploring performance, video, and the use of technology as a stage narrative. With this performance, the audience witness the construction of an audiovisual self-portrait evolving live, responding to the experiences lived and narrated by the protagonist. Thus, a conversation takes place between the performer and the technology that helps her to create this self-portrait for an abstract, distant, and external audience hidden behind the screens of their devices. El Mejor de los Mundos (EMDLM – The Best of All Worlds) explores topics related to establishing a personality within a society where this construction is no longer private. Rather, all choices, experiences and mistakes are public. A multidiscipline project which started as an artistic installation in 2018 with a series of fragmented, distorted and often unconnected portraits hiding behind a so-called glibness, a certain existential tension inherent in a connected globalised world.

Estudio Gheada: Audiovisual studio specialised in immersive entertainment, visual arts, and the creation of original contents. It is made up of visual artists and creatives with over 10 years’ experience in the audiovisual world.
